NUTRITION TIPS

Try the following simple tips to help you with your slimming and weight loss goals. Remember, there is no magical quick solution to weight loss. Effective weight loss only comes with regular exercise and a sensible eating diet. SlimGum can be a great aid to your slimming when combined with a regular exercise regime and sensible eating.
Diet Plan
Try and eat regular, small healthy meals during the day. Starving yourself or skipping meals is not advised. You have to see healthy eating as a way of life and not as a diet. If you diet, you are 90% likely to put the weight and even more back on in 2 years.
Below is an example of a simple diet you can follow:
Breakfast
1-2 x Toast or
Corn Flakes with skimmed milk
Orange Juice
Tea or Coffee
Mid Morning
Chew 1 x SlimGum
Lunch
Lean meats such as Turkey/Chicken or lean red meat
Bowl of rice, pasta or potatoes (not all three!)
Salad and vegetables
Mid Afternoon
Chew 1 x SlimGum
Dinner
Lean meats or eggs or fish
Small bowl of carbohydrates (rice, pasta or potatoes)
Fruits and Vegetables
Night
Chew 1 x SlimGum
You can also chew 1 more SlimGum during the day when your will-power is weak. Do not exceed 4 x SlimGums in any one day.
You can also split the above meals into smaller ones and have them more regularly i.e. eat 5 times a day. So you can have the salads or vegetables from lunch or dinner during the day in mid afternoon or mid morning. Try not to eat at least 4 hours before sleep. So if you sleep at 11 p.m., have your last meal around 7 p.m.
Exercise Plan
If you really want to lose the weight, then there is no better exercise plan than regular cardiovascular exercise. Don't do weights or other "fads" that don't target fat cells. If you truly want to lose as much weight as humanly possible, in the shortest period of time, then follow an exercise regime like the one below:
Do cardiovascular exercise for between 45-120 mins 4-5 times a week. If you are not used to exercising, build up slowly.
Great cardiovascular exercises are: Fast walking or jogging, stair climber, stationary cycling, cross-trainer.
Try and stay in your target heart range constantly. As a rough guide, this is where you are not over-straining (whereby you cannot hold a conversation) and not slow enough for you to be able to talk normally. If you are "panting" then that's a good place to be.
Diet Tips
- Drink around 2 litres of water every day.
- Cut down on salt intake.
- Reduce sugar, sweets, pastry, saturated fats and junk foods.
- Check the level of saturated fats in products and don't consume over 15g saturated fats in any one day.
- Eat most of your complex carbohydrates earlier in the day (pasta, potatoes, rice, bread).
- If you are obese, eat 60% of what you normally put on to your plate.
- Eat some nuts and seeds if hungry with some water.
- Take 4 SlimGums per day.
